My Beauty Top 5

Posted by: on Jul 8, 2012 | No Comments

To be honest, I change my makeup routine as often as I change my preference in breakfast cereals (read: A LOT!) but there are always 5 essentials I don’t leave home without.

My top 5 beauty products have taken a long time to discover through trial & error, so I thought, to save you the hassle of buying products that promise the world, but don’t deliver I thought I would share my faves with you all :D

These 5 little beauty buys are my personal lifesavers. They can make even the most sleep deprived/hung over/emotional woman look pulled together in a matter of seconds. So without further ado…..

Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara in Black - I have tried MANY mascaras but with one wave of this magic wand I have longer, thicker & clump-less lashes instantly. Magic I tell you.

Maybelline New York Baby Lips in Anti-Oxidant Berry - lip balm should be in every woman’s handbag. Why? Because scaly lips are not a good look & lip balm is the only thing that can prevent this.

M.A.C Matte lipstick in Please Me – This lipstick is the perfect nude-pink hue, I slap it on my lips to brighten up any look & it can also be worn as a light blush when I’m desperate for some colour.

Lancome Long-Lasting Softening Concealer - I keep a handy purse size amount of this lotion in my handbag & the big container in my beauty cabinet at home. This concealer has the ability to hide tired eyes, red noses & the odd blemish, leaving skin smooth, hydrated & perfect.

YSL Eau De Parfum in Parisienne - I feel naked without a spritz of perfume before I leave the house. This fragrance is feminine & fun without being too saccharine, & while one should never judge a book by its cover, the bottle is pretty-darn cute as well.

So tell me, what don’t you leave home without? What are your beauty must-haves?
