Colour of the moment: Mint Green

SpearMINT, PepperMINT or just plain MINT. It doesn’t matter what you call it beacuse there is no denying that this colour is everywhere at the moment. Whether you want to mint yourself from head-to-toe of just a refreshing splash of colour is your style, there is a minty-moment for every budget so you have no excuse to be anything less than fresh this season.

I came across this article last week & just had to share it with The Window Shopper readers.

Paula Joye of the popular site Life Styled interviewed Kelly Smythe, an Australian stylist with some serious style-cred. {just check out the images if you need proof!}

Kelly talks about her must have items, favourite labels & how to find your own style, but the most interesting part is where she recommends her clients buy quality over quantity & that less is more when you are shopping on a budget. Sounds familiar eh?

“What would you advise someone with a low-budget that still wants to look stylish? When I have someone with a low-budget I encourage them to get their head around the less is more concept. It’s the basic pieces that people never seem to have. We should all own a good pair of skinny jeans, a good flat shoe and a great jacket, scarf and pair of sunglasses. Then you can add to it as the season goes.“
